Job Title Fire OfficerJob Description Summary Job Description Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and local authority norms • Conduct routine inspection of: • Fire alarm systems • Sprinklers & hydrants • Fire extinguishers • Emergency exits and evacuation routes
• Maintain fire safety equipment in operational condition • Coordinate mock fire drills and evacuation exercises • Train employees, security staff, and facility teams on fire safety practices • Monitor control room / fire panel systems • Liaise with local fire department and statutory authorities • Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and prepare reports • Maintain documentation (checklists, audit reports, compliance records)
Operational Duties
• 24/7 readiness for emergency response • Lead fire-fighting team during incidents • Ensure proper functioning of fire command center • Supervise contractors/vendors working on fire systems • Verify fire NOC validity and renewals
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of fire safety systems & standards • Emergency handling and decision-making skills • Leadership and team coordination • Good communication and training ability • Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical)
Qualifications
• Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering (or equivalent) • Certification from recognized fire institutes • 3–8 years’ experience in commercial buildings / IT parks / malls / large campuses

• Zero fire incidents / reduced risk exposure • 100% compliance with fire audits • Timely completion of drills and training. • System uptime and maintenance efficiency
