Athelstan Primary School is on the lookout for a Teacher who feels confident they could match our high expectations and passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all pupils in your class. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and a love of learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, building positive relationships and keeping them informed of their child's progress. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending staff meetings, INSET days, and potentially leading extracurricular activities. Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Is highly motivated with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching and learning strategies. Is passionate about working with primary-aged children and committed to their development. Can demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to working in a diverse school community. Is able to communicate, enthuse and inspire young learners. Is a strong team player and able to work collaboratively. Has a desire to play an active role in the development of the school and to use their own skills, talents and interest for the benefit of the children.
