Lead the Science team, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement Support and develop outstanding teaching and learning practises across all science subjects Design, develop, and enhance the science curriculum to ensure it is engaging, relevant, and challenging Monitor and analyse student progress and outcomes to inform targeted interventions and improvements Collaborate with colleagues across the school to promote science and STEM opportunities Contribute to whole-school initiatives focused on raising standards and enriching the student experienceQualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience teaching scienceProven leadership experience within a secondary school setting, preferably in scienceStrong understanding of the science curriculum and assessment requirementsExperience in curriculum development and staff professional developmentA dynamic and motivational leader with the ability to inspire staff and students alikeExcellent communication and organisational skillsCommitment to student wellbeing and raising aspirationsInnovative thinker with a passion for science education and continuous improvement
