About this role

SUMMARY This is a temporary position This is a varied, hands-on role supporting perforating and ballistic operations, equipment maintenance, stock control, workshop and yard activities, and the dispatch and receipt of equipment. The individual will support the safe and efficient preparation, loading, testing, and movement of equipment. The role requires a strong commitment to HSE, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all HSE requirements, company policies and applicable regulations.

• Complete job reports, service documentation and associated records accurately and in a timely manner.

• Take responsibility for the care, maintenance and accountability of assigned materials and equipment.

• Prepare and load perforating equipment at OOT and third-party facilities.

• Carry out, or assist with, ballistic testing and disposal operations.

• Coordinate and support the dispatch and receipt of third-party perforating and ballistic campaign equipment.

• Perform maintenance, inspection and servicing of company equipment and rental tools.

• Support stock control activities, including stock checks, goods receipt and equipment dispatch.

• Undertake workshop and yard activities, including forklift operations where authorised.

• Participate in weekends, public holidays, standby and on-call rotas as required.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within workshop, yards and storage areas.

• Adhere to company procedures and operational standards at all times.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant technical, mechanical or electrical qualifications would be advantageous, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

• Minimum of five years' experience in a workshop, yard, warehouse, industrial or oilfield environment.

• Previous experience in oil and gas, wireline, perforating or explosives operations is desirable but not essential.

• Previous experience of explosives handling, perforating systems or ballistic operations would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

• A forklift licence (preferably with 16-tonne forklifts) would be beneficial, although training may be provided where appropriate.

• Basic stock control experience, including goods receipt and dispatch.

• Working environment will result in employee being exposed to various weather conditions in an outdoor environment, sun, heat, wind cold, rain etc.
