Key Areas of Responsibilities
• Oversee and validate trade bookings to ensure accurate capture of transactions in internal systems • Coordinate preparation and verification of trade confirmations and contract notes, ensuring timely distribution to counterparties. • Co-ordination with regional trade support groups, traders and customers to resolve queries / issues. • Maintain and update static and reference data to support trading and operational accuracy. • Proactively manage day-to-day operational queries and issues from internal and external stakeholders, escalating where necessary. • Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues between front office trading systems and downstream operational platforms. • Serve as an authorizer and releaser for relevant systems to ensure operational governance and control. • Supervise and manage daily business-as-usual (BAU) workflows, as well as project deliverables. • Support initiatives aimed at process efficiencies, system enhancements, cost savings, and improved operational controls.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1-4 years’ relevant experience in the securities or related financial services industry. • Prior middle office experience will be considered a strong advantage. • Solid understanding of trade processing workflows, including reference data management. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with front office and other support teams, both locally and globally, to address trade-related enquiries and resolve issues. • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving capabilities, and effective time management skills, with demonstrated risk awareness to ensure compliance and safeguard the firm’s operational and financial integrity. • Excellent command and fluency in both spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages will be an advantage. • The candidate should be willing and able to challenge existing processes and procedures and suggest changes where these are felt to be appropriate and necessary. • The candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office and preferably have experience in the usage of operations systems/applications commonly used in securities-related industry including DTCC Alert, CTM, FIX, SWIFT etc. • Candidate should be open to work in Asia / EU / US shifts depending on the work requirement. • Experience in sell-side brokerage operations (optional) • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Banking.
