Key Areas of Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Head Office reporting: Assisting in month end close related activities including posting accounting entries and responding to queries raised on month end closing related activities. • Local regulatory reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports to regulators. • Invoice processing: Assisting in processing vendor payments. • Treasury management: Monitor cash flow, working capital management and coordinate with banks for fixed deposit placement/maturity etc. • Financial Analysis: Performing expense analysis and ensuring proper accounting of all operating expenses. • Audit support: Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations. • Tax Compliance: Manage timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes) and ensure compliance with applicable laws including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records, and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or recognized professional accounting qualification in finance discipline. • 5 – 7 years of working experience in accounting and financial reporting in multinational corporations preferred. • Good communication skills (verbal and written) • Excellent skills in Microsoft excel. • Working knowledge in local tax areas. • Hands on knowledge of SAP is a plus. • Strong problem solving and multi tasking skills. • Able to work independently and attention to details.
