Occupational Health & Wellness Licensed Practical Nurse
Major Duties: This role serves a professional corporate workforce and requires exceptional relationship-building, health coaching, employee engagement, and care coordination skills to support employee well-being, resilience, productivity, and long-term health outcomes.
CARE COORDINATION
• Support & Coordination of care for Onsite/Near-Site Model
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance and support in navigating available health, wellness, behavioral health, and community resources.
• Promote engagement in preventive care services, health coaching programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Support employees with follow-up care coordination and referrals as directed by providers and established clinical protocols.
WORKER’S COMPENSATION
• Case Management to facilitate Worker’s Comp process, facilitate referrals, assuring appropriate care, prescriptions, facilitate scheduling studies and return to work assessments
• Attend Plant Safety Meetings, review injuries
• Resource for Work Comp guidelines for injured employees
• Assists in documentation of Work Comp Injury for personnel
• Coordinates Work Comp Modified Duty with Client’s Supervisors & Safety
• Evaluation/support of work Injury Return to Work Forms
• On call support for Work Related injuries
OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE
• Responsibility for all Influenza Flu Events for respective facility
• Support the development and implementation of health and wellness programs in collaboration with Environmental Health & Safety, Operations, Human Resources, and clinical leadership.
• Educating employees in a Safe Work Environment and Prevention
• Coordinates Hearing Preservation Program with referrals to ENT as appropriate
• Coordinates Onsite Health Events, Mammography, Blood Drives and Monthly Health topics
MEDICAL MANAGEMENT
• Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care for workplace injuries, illnesses, and health concerns within LPN scope of practice, established clinical protocols, and provider direction.
• Assisting in medical emergencies
• Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight
• Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
• Giving Immunizations under physician orders
• Support and Encourage Medical Management Plans of Patients—blood pressure checks; blood glucose checks
• Assist in coordinating Onsite EAP Counseling after an event and ongoing education
PREVENTION
• Assist with planning and coordination of health education programs tailored to a professional workforce.
• Coordinate monthly wellness campaigns and health promotion activities designed to engage employees across departments and work schedules.
• Promotion of Immunizations
• CPR Training
• Attends monthly safety meetings
• Assists with Coaching programs
HEALTH COACHING
• Education regarding preventive care, chronic disease management, and health improvement opportunities.
• Initial goal setting and ongoing support to encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors and achievement of wellness goals.
• Steerage into Health & Wellness programs, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and other available resources.
• Provide coaching and education related to stress management, sleep health, resiliency, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle habits
ADMINISTRATIVE
• Responsible for all medical supplies for occupational office
• Assures compliance with regulatory requirements, CLIA & OSHA
• Charting within Electronic Health Record
Qualifications:
• Active Georgia LPN license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
• Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and computer applications.
• Experience providing occupational health, wellness, primary care, or employee health services preferred.
• Experience supporting professional, corporate, or employer-sponsored populations preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective relationships with employees at all organizational levels.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with health education, wellness initiatives, employee engagement programs, or health coaching preferred.
Bonus points for:
• Experience in an employer-sponsored health center or corporate campus environment.
• Experience supporting workforce well-being, stress management, preventive health, or employee engagement initiatives.
• Training in health coaching, motivational interviewing, wellness program delivery, or behavior change strategies.
• Knowledge of occupational health, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.

Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to engage a professional, high-performing employee population through health education, wellness support, care coordination, and preventive health initiatives.
This is a full-time 40-hour-a-week role. 8am-4pm shift Monday-Friday
This position is onsite in Calhoun, GA.
