What you’ll be doing
As a Summer Analyst, you will work with engineers, traders and quantitative professionals on software, data and automation problems that matter to the business. In this role, you will work directly with experienced engineers, traders, and quantitative professionals who will provide mentorship, feedback, and exposure to how technology is used within a modern electronic trading business.
You'll gain exposure to electronic trading, market structure, quantitative decision making, and the technology platforms that support a modern capital markets business.
Depending on your interests and the team's priorities, you may:
• Design systems where microseconds matter and where software decisions directly impact trading outcomes.
• Create real-time data pipelines, analytics and visualization tools.
• Apply machine learning to market, client or operational datasets where it is the right tool.
• Design APIs and reusable services for front-office applications.
• Design and implement workflow automation that increases efficiency and reduces operational risk.
• Contribute to electronic trading platforms, market data systems, and client-facing technology.

The expected annualized base salary for this role is $100,000. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. • You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related program at the time of the internship, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
• Students with a technical undergraduate (ex: Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) are preferred.

Who you are
• You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Commerce, Economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or a related field, and your expected graduation date is no earlier than December 2027. • You have experience building or contributing to technical work, which may include software development, workflow automation, data analysis, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, personal projects, startups, or student clubs. • You bring programming and technical problem-solving skills. We care more about your ability to reason, learn and build reliable software than about any particular programming language. Your experience may come from coursework, internships, research, open source or projects you pursued independently. Useful experience may include Python or another general-purpose language, Git, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, data engineering, machine learning or distributed systems. • You have an interest in financial markets, technology, and quantitative problem-solving. We are equally interested in exceptional builders, problem solvers, and technologists who are excited to learn how modern capital markets operate. • Values matter to you.
