Job Details ChristianaCare Renal Transplant Team is looking for a detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly organized Medical Office Assistant II with strong communication skills and the ability to proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Since 2006, ChristianaCare's Kidney Transplant Program has provided comprehensive kidney transplant and living donor services to the Delaware community, helping more than 1,000 patients each year through transplant evaluation, living donation evaluation, waitlist management, post-donation care, and post-transplant care.

Our program is both Medicare and UNOS approved, demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards of patient care, clinical excellence, and transplant outcomes. The Medical Office Assistant II is the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment by assisting patients, managing appointments and records, training staff, and supporting workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

Duties / Responsibilities: The Medical Office Assistant II manages patient interactions, scheduling, records, referrals, insurance verification, and payments, including day-end reconciliation. They train staff, handle inventory, coordinate testing and appointments, support administrative tasks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain professionalism while performing other related duties as needed. Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• 2 years’ experience in a medical office setting is required; 3 years’ experience is preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.55 - $26.90

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
