Job Description We are looking for a SunWatch Technician to monitor and troubleshoot toll system operations, provide technical support, coordinate field service activities, and ensure the reliable operation of tolling infrastructure and network systems. This position will be full-time and onsite in Orlando, FL.

Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Monitor toll system hardware and software to ensure proper operation of switches, firewalls, and remote technologies

• Receive and respond to incoming calls related to toll system issues and service interruptions

• Troubleshoot toll system issues, diagnose root causes, and provide technical resolutions

• Monitor network and system performance to ensure operational continuity

• Dispatch and coordinate field technicians to respond to toll site issues when on-site support is required

• Communicate issue details, work assignments, and schedules to field technicians

• Assist technicians remotely with troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Maintain records of repairs, service activities, and technician assignments

• Document incoming calls, service requests, technical issues, and resolutions within ticketing systems

• Maintain logs of troubleshooting efforts and communicate ongoing issues with vendors and support teams

• Update service tickets and track issue progress through resolution

• Provide timely and effective customer service through phone and email communications

• Support operational activities related to toll system maintenance and monitoring

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Need Required:

• Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or one year of real-world IT experience with a reputable organization

• Knowledge of local area networks, wide area networks, and remote troubleshooting methodologies

• Basic understanding of networking technologies, switches, firewalls, and remote connectivity solutions

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to analyze system issues and identify effective solutions

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues through phone and email support

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to document technical issues and maintain accurate service records

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems

• CompTIA A+ certification

• Experience supporting network infrastructure and remote technologies

• Experience working in a network operations center, service desk, or technical support environment

• Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
