SUMMARY:
Fires boilers and controls generation of a continuous supply of steam for heating the hospital buildings, supplying power to machinery and auxiliary equipment, laundry and sterilizing operations Observes operating equipment, meters and gages to insure that operation is in accordance with specified instructions Manipulates valves to adjust and correct malfunctions Brown University Health employees are expected to successfully role model the organization's values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence as these values guide our everyday actions with patients, customers and one another.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a 2nd Class Fireman Special learned knowledge equal to journeyman ability in trade and crafts
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent
MA 2nd Class Fireman's License required
Pay Range:
