About this role
SUMMARY:
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program.
• Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.
• Ability to analyze data, to synthesize and summarize information and to make judgements regarding patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

For specialty areas, related experience and qualifications may be required.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing. BSN strongly preferred. MA RN license and BLS required (Some departments require ACLS or PALS)
