Job Family Group: Operations Group Job Description: As an Allround Technician at BP Raffinaderij Rotterdam, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our refinery's assets through effective maintenance and risk management.
Job Responsibilities**
* Execute and oversee Maintenance general activities, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks on various refinery equipment. * Strictly adhere to and enforce established Procedures and practices for all operational and maintenance activities. * Actively participate in the Control of Work process, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. * Apply principles of Reliability general to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime. * Implement and champion Safety Leadership initiatives, fostering a strong safety culture within the team and across the site. * Conduct thorough Risk Management assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations. * Contribute to Cost-conscious decision-making by identifying efficiencies and optimizing resource utilization in maintenance activities. * Participate in and support Turnaround general planning and execution, ensuring timely and effective completion of large-scale maintenance projects. * Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, often working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience in a heavy industrial environment, preferably within the oil and gas or petrochemical sector. * Demonstrable expertise in Control of Work processes and safety protocols. * Strong understanding and application of Maintenance general principles. * Familiarity with industry-standard Procedures and practices. * Knowledge of Reliability general methodologies and tools. * Experience in applying Risk Management techniques. * A track record of promoting and upholding Safety Leadership. * Ability to make Cost-conscious decisions without compromising safety or quality. * Experience with or participation in Turnaround general activities. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
