Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Die-Cast Machine Operator in our Allenton, WI location.
Primary Function:
The Die-Cast Machine Operator plays a vital role in Boyd Thermal by Eaton’s die-cast operation, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our die-cast manufacturing operations. In this position, you will be responsible for operating die cast machines manufacturing die-cast components, ensuring they meet quality standards and production timelines. Key responsibilities include operating die-cast machines, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members to optimize the manufacturing process. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset are crucial as you contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing goals.
This position is for 1st shift (7am-3pm or 6a-2p).
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Essential Functions:
• Operate and monitor die-cast machines
• Set, repair, and replace tooling
• Maintain tooling and hourly production rates
• Monitor condition of die-castings per work instructions
• Relieve other machine operators for breaks
• Run trim presses as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures related to safety, conduction, and manufacturing practices
• Must support and follow the QMS requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization on a professional level
• Basic reasoning skills and language skills (ability to read, listen, analyze, and interpret general business paperwork)
• Ability to accurately complete shop paperwork
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch and use hands to handle tools, parts, and equipment
• Must have the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities are required for this job and include close and distance vision, color, peripheral vision, and ability to focus

• Previous manufacturing experience
Working Conditions
• Regularly works on the manufacturing floor and near production processes
• May be exposed to noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, chemicals, hazardous materials, and other manufacturing conditions
• Must wear required personal protective equipment
• May work alternate shifts, overtime, weekends, shutdowns, or schedule changes based on production requirements
