Job Title: Blackstone Credit & Insurance – Senior Associate
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead transaction diligence, and underwriting of new investments, as well as leading monitoring portfolio operations across the energy, utility, and infrastructure space. • Prepare financial models, investment committee presentations, and third-party briefing materials for various investments within the Infrastructure and Asset Based Credit Team within Blackstone Credit and Insurance. • Lead internal discussions to evaluate viability of potential investment opportunities and financing structures. • Oversee analysts and associates on various deal teams and monitor progress towards key milestones. • Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required. Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel to build detailed financial models and cash flow pro formas. • Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to develop internal and external presentation materials. • Minimum of 2 years of experience underwriting, conducting due diligence, and closing energy and infrastructure transactions across the United States. • Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing and evaluating companies throughout the energy industry value chain, including exploration & production, midstream, services, refining, and energy transition using valuation techniques such as net asset valuation, discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout, and sum-of-the-parts to create comprehensive financial models to analyze the impact of mergers & acquisitions as well as debt and equity capital markets transactions. • Experience can be concurrent.

Expected annual base salary range:
$160,000 - $215,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
