Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Manager, to join our Enniscorthy manufacturing site on a fixed-term assignment of approximately 12 months, starting in December, to cover a maternity leave.

This is a high-impact HR leadership role requiring a seasoned HR professional with 15+ years of experience, gained within manufacturing, industrial, MedTech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, automotive, FMCG, or similar operational environments. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Employee Relations, employment law, and strategic HR business partnering within complex international matrix organizations. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will lead key people initiatives, support a workforce of over 400 employees, and drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

What You'll Do Strategic HR Partnership

• Act as a trusted advisor to site leaders on all people-related matters.

• Lead the execution of key HR processes including talent and succession planning, performance management, development planning, and compensation planning.

• Identify organizational needs and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.

• Leverage workforce data and analytics to anticipate challenges and drive informed decision-making.

Talent & Workforce Planning

• Support workforce and organizational planning activities to ensure the site has the capabilities needed for future success.

• Drive talent management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and positive employee relations initiatives.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.

• Support organizational change and transformation initiatives.

Leadership Coaching & Performance Management

• Coach and develop leaders at all levels to enhance leadership effectiveness.

• Facilitate performance and talent calibration discussions.

• Provide guidance on performance management, development planning, and employee growth.

• Support managers in addressing performance challenges with fairness, consistency, and compliance.

Employee Experience & Engagement

• Champion a positive and inclusive employee experience.

• Identify trends impacting engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

• Develop practical solutions to improve employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Employee Relations

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.

• Lead inclusion and diversity initiatives at site level.

• Partner with Legal and business leaders on complex employee relations matters.

• Support delivery and completion of mandatory training and compliance programs.

HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze workforce metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

• Translate people data into actionable business insights.

• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and practices.

• Contribute to broader HR projects and enterprise-wide initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 15+ years of progressive HR Generalist/HR Business Partner experience.

• Significant HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, MedTech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, automotive, FMCG, or similar operational environments, supporting employee populations of 400+ employees.

• Proven experience operating within complex, international matrix organizations, partnering across multiple functions and geographies.

• Strong expertise in Employee Relations, employment law, and complex case management.

• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing business decisions and driving people strategy.

• Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing teams, while fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, influencing, and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage workforce data to drive informed business decisions.

• Salary range: €100K-€120K base salary + bonus

Salary Range Information €95 200,00 - €145 150,00 EUR Annual
