Position Summary The Groundskeeper - Ice Rink Operations is a seasonal, overnight position responsible for maintaining outdoor ice rinks, attraction grounds, and surrounding guest areas. Operating approximately November 1 through January 9, this role helps ensure safe, high-quality ice conditions and a clean, welcoming environment for guests throughout the winter season and will pay up to $25/hour based on experience. Essential Duties
• Maintain ice surfaces by spraying, rebuilding, and repairing damage from weather and skater use. • Monitor ice conditions and remove snow, water, and debris from rink areas. • Inspect and report issues with rink equipment and related systems. • Perform groundskeeping duties, including snow removal, seasonal preparations, and landscape maintenance. • Complete routine facility inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment. • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards, incidents, and equipment concerns. Qualifications
• Groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed throughout the seasonal operating period.
