Summary
The Weigh Master is responsible for all facets of the operations of a truck weighing process. The duties include, but are not limited to, weighing trucks, recording all information in a computerized weighing system, running reports, and filing. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions. Job Description
• Inspect paperwork and loads for inbound and outbound trucks. Enter all information into computer. • Complete daily reports, maintain logs, spreadsheets and other reports, as assigned. • Monitors and records vehicle gross, tare and net weights. • Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required. Associates degree preferred. • Four years’ experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment. • Bilingual: English and Spanish.

• Knowledge and experience working with computerized scale systems and other similar software and equipment. • Communication skills to be able to deal with a wide range of customers, vendors, and co-workers. • Ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner and to follow safety policies and procedures.
Physical/Environmental Demands:
• Physical: • Sitting, seeing, hearing, & smelling continuously. • Problem solving, oral/written communication, analytical ability, calculating, concentration, & interpersonal abilities continuously. • Eye/hand coordination, fingering (typing), handling, & wrist motion continuously. • Bending, reaching, stretching, standing, & walking occasionally.
• Environmental: • Exposure to dust, smoke, fumes, odors, & noise continuously. • Exposure to grease, oil, chemicals, & wet conditions occasionally. • Works inside only. Position considered office only.
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 10:30 am - 8:00 pm with rotating Saturdays Salary: $22.55 - $26.10/hour
