• Helps patients access necessary healthcare services and resources, including financial assistance and community support. • Mediates and resolves conflicts between patients and healthcare providers or institutions. • Collects and documents patient complaints and grievances, following up to ensure resolution. • Collaborates with healthcare teams to improve patient care and satisfaction. • Advocates for patient safety and quality care, identifying and addressing potential issues. • Participates in performance improvement initiatives and policy development to enhance patient advocacy services. • Provides emotional support and empathy to patients and families during difficult times. • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards in all interactions. • Provides support and guidance to patients and their families, helping them navigate the healthcare system. • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient needs and concerns are addressed. • Educates patients about their rights and responsibilities within the healthcare system. • Assists patients in understanding their medical conditions, treatment options, and care plans. • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English. • Good oral communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • Excellent organization and people skills. [Required] • Computer skills in Microsoft Office [Preferred] • Customer service experience within a digital environment • Basic knowledge of navigation in a patient electronic medical record [Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 2+ of experience in nursing [Required] • Demonstrated experience in customer service [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$31.85 - $50.90 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
