• Registers patients promptly and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is collected. • Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits to confirm eligibility and coverage details. • Resolves any registration or payment issues promptly and efficiently. • Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with registration and payment procedures. • Collects upfront payments, including co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service. • Explains forms and information to patients, ensuring they understand the registration and payment processes. • Directs patients to the appropriate department or location within the facility. • Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and patient flow. • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. • Meets monthly upfront cash collection goals to support the financial objectives of the organization. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Provides excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Internet skills. [Required] • Ability to deal effectively with the public. [Required] • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. [Required] • Ability to work and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays etc. [Required] • Ability and willingness to adapt to change [Required] • Previous experience in a medical setting, (Physician Office, Hospital, Etc.) [Preferred] • Medical Terminology [Preferred] • Basic Insurance Knowledge [Preferred]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$15.84 - $25.34 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
