About this role

Job Description SUMMARY The Sr. Analyst of S&OE is responsible for providing data-driven insights and operational support to help ensure seamless execution of sales and operations plans across the organization. They work to analyze sales forecasts, operational performance, inventory levels, and key business metrics to support alignment between sales and operations. This role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency, improving visibility to performance, supporting customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company's strategic goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales, inventory, service, and operational performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Reporting and Insights: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and reports that provide visibility into key S&OE performance indicators and support leadership decision-making.

• Forecasting: Analyze forecast accuracy, demand trends, and sales performance to identify risks, opportunities, and variances. Provide insights to support demand planning, inventory optimization, and improved forecast accuracy.

• Sales and Operations Execution Support: Support the S&OE process by analyzing forecast performance, customer demand, inventory levels, and operational execution to help ensure alignment across functions.

• Process Optimization: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business performance.

• Technology and Data Analytics: Leverage business intelligence tools, ERP systems, sales and operations planning software, and data analytics to improve decision-making and operational performance.

• Risk Management: Identify potential business and operational risks through data analysis and support the development of mitigation plans to ensure smooth operations.

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders to communicate insights, resolve issues, and support execution of business priorities.

• Project Support: Support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects by gathering data, conducting analysis, tracking progress, and communicating results to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar data visualization and analytics tools.

• Advanced Proficiency in ERP systems and sales and operations planning software preferred; experience with Blue Yonder Demand and Fulfillment is a nice to have.

Preferred Attributes:

• Continuous Improvement Mindset: demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and support process enhancements.

• Six Sigma or Lean experience preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Consulting or a related field.

Experience: 4-7 years of experience in business analytics, sales and operations management operations, supply chain analytics, or a related operational excellence field.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have any direct reports.
