JOB DESCRIPTION
• Responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of SPPM.
• Ensure that suppliers solve problems using the 8D methodology or other problem-solving systems.
• Ensure supplier certification in accordance with specifications.
• Prepare control plans and carry out incoming material inspections according to planning requirements.
• Ensure supplier processes for new products and modifications to existing products, and coordinate PPAP activities.
• Establish containment areas for non-conforming products or parts.
• Ensure BOS procedures are implemented and drive improvements when necessary.
• Conduct supplier process and system audits.
• Perform fit and assembly trials and follow up on product modifications and/or new product launches.
• Manage and validate new equipment, processes, or tools that impact product quality.
• CAROL, MEQ, and daily/monthly organizational reporting.
• BOS Auditor.
• Conduct BOS plant audits: Process Audits, LPAs, and 5S Audits.
• Support the implementation of AMS principles.
• Monitor scrap levels and manage sewing shop activities.
