This position reports to: Procurement Team Lead __ Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our supply chain operations by working closely with our international suppliers. As a Material Expeditor, you will analyze and detect supplier-related issues, prepare comprehensive root cause analyses, and develop effective solutions to optimize material flow and delivery performance.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the Switchboard Procurement team in SLP.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Monitor and manage the timely delivery of raw materials, components, and required to support manufacturing operations.
• Lead expediting activities for critical and high-priority materials to prevent production downtime and customer delivery disruptions.
• Track and analyze open purchase orders, supplier commitments, transit status, and inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain recovery plans for late deliveries, material shortages, and supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply, Production Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve material-related issues.
Qualifications for the role:
• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working in related positions.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis.
• Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of incoterms and supply chain.
• Advanced English level.
• Possess strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
