This position reports to: Operations Manager __ Your role and responsibilities Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and digital-oriented Supplier Quality Management Manager to lead end-to-end supplier quality governance for our high-end manufacturing supply chain. This role takes ownership of quality strategy planning, supplier quality system optimization, digital quality transformation, and cross-supplier continuous improvement, ensuring stable, compliant and high-quality supply chain delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop medium & long-term supplier quality strategies, annual quality roadmaps and strategic quality objectives aligned with company business growth.
• Lead digital supplier quality management transformation, drive QMS/MES data application, quality data visualization, intelligent risk warning and digital closed-loop improvement.
• Manage full lifecycle supplier quality activities: supplier qualification, audit, performance rating, process surveillance, and supplier capability development.
• Lead 8D/root-cause analysis for incoming defects, field failures and quality incidents, ensure effective CAPA closure and recurrence prevention.
• Establish strategic supplier quality review mechanism, drive yield improvement, PPM reduction and quality cost optimization.
• Lead, coach and develop the SQE team, improve team professionalism, strategic thinking and digital working capability.
• Support internal & customer audits and maintain full compliance with ISO9001/IATF16949 quality systems.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Materials, Quality or related majors.
• 8+ years supplier quality management experience, 3+ years people management experience; heavy industry / large motor / high-end equipment background preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking & planning capability, experienced in building supply chain quality strategy and improvement roadmap.
• Proven experience in quality digitalization, familiar with digital quality tools, data analysis and system-driven quality management.
• Proficient in core quality tools: 8D, 5Why, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical parts, machining, casting, stamping and electrical components quality control.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, supplier negotiation and project management skills.
• Fluent English for overseas supplier communication and audit.
• Data-driven mindset, strong leadership, strategic vision and problem-solving capability.
