Westaff is partnering with a growing company in Warwick, RI that is looking for a motivated Purchasing Specialist to join their team! If you enjoy keeping things organized, building strong relationships, solving problems, and making sure products arrive on time, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this fast-paced role, you'll be at the center of the purchasing process, working closely with vendors, customer service teams, and sales departments to keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Process and monitor purchase orders from start to finish ✅ Track shipments, delivery schedules, and order updates ✅ Communicate with vendors regarding order status, invoices, and payments ✅ Troubleshoot and resolve purchasing issues quickly and professionally ✅ Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries ✅ Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to provide timely updates ✅ Maintain accurate purchasing records and tracking information ✅ Build and strengthen vendor relationships that support business success
What We're Looking For:
✔ 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ✔ Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment ✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel ✔ Healthcare purchasing experience is a plus
