We are seeking a motivated, service-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our leadership team. This position primarily oversees our breakfast operation while providing occasional leadership support for dinner service, events, and special functions.
This position is located in Valemount, British Columbia.

About the Role
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key leadership role within our Food & Beverage department and is responsible for supporting daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
This role will primarily supervise breakfast operations while assisting with occasional dinner shifts, events, banquets, and special functions.
The successful candidate will help maintain operational excellence, support team culture, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant and hotel.
Qualifications
• Previous supervisory experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, or related customer service environments preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Safe Certification and Serving It Right/ProServe (or willing to obtain before starting)
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
• Passion for hospitality and guest service
• Positive attitude with a willingness to lead by example
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and support Food & Beverage team members
• Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Vantage values
• Deliver exceptional service to both guests and colleagues
• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in achieving departmental goals
• Provide training and mentorship to team members
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Operational Excellence
• Assist with daily restaurant, lounge, breakfast, banquet, and event operations
• Support food and beverage service during busy periods
• Ensure operational standards are consistently maintained
• Monitor cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and departmental organization
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality
Guest Experience
• Anticipate guest needs before they ask
• Resolve concerns professionally and effectively
• Create memorable experiences that encourage guest loyalty
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests
