We are looking for an experienced and creative Adobe Premiere Pro editor to join our UEFA team.
The role will include working on features, openers and closers for productions like The UCL Show, The UEFA Europa Show and UEFA’s Digital platforms.
The right candidate for this role should demonstrate a talent and passion for editing high-end content in a fast-turnaround environment.
They should be full of ideas, willing to engage in shaping the overall creative direction of the department and confident to bring new visual styles to the productions.
A passion for and knowledge of a wide range of sports, including European football is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offline and online editing on Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working as part of a team across a wide range of content including promos, features and
longer-form content.
• Grading and sound mixing to broadcast quality
• Stitching programmes for delivery to broadcasters
• Understanding the technical requirements to meet and uphold QC standards
• Ensuring that the output complies with Whisper’s editorial, technical, design and accessibility
standards, whilst always working to the company’s Health and Safety policy
• Keeping abreast of developments and trends in the Digital space and make suggestions for creative content
Please note that responsibilities may be amended, added to, or removed to reflect the changing needs of the production or organisation.
Skills and Experience:
• Several years’ previous experience as an Editor in the industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and demonstrable experience of creating
exciting edits
• Ability to use After Effects (Mac-based) would be beneficial
• Passion for creativity and visual storytelling, and ambition to work as part of the team to suggest new ideas and designs
• Demonstrated ability and experience of producing engaging, entertaining, and creative features.
• Understanding of the technical specifications, creative and editorial requirements for delivering
output directly to broadcast and also social media platforms
• Understanding of media management, requesting, and ingesting of content, as well as broadcast delivery specifications and codecs
• Ability to understand a brief from the internal production team and external clients
• Ability to work independently as well as alongside an Edit Producer, and to amend projects started by other editors
• Flexibility of working days and hours to fulfil needs at crucial points of the sporting calendar
• A demonstrable level of creativity with the ability to bring a fresh new approach to creating engaging and evolving output
Location:
The base for this position will be Kew, London.
Working Days:
5 day week, no opportunity to work remotely.
This role will require a degree of flexibility and weekend working.
You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements, Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week.
Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.
