About this role

You've probably sold for a company that couldn't deliver. You land the account, operations blows the first call, and you spend the next month on the phone apologizing instead of selling. Everybody in this business has done that tour.

That's the problem we don't have. We've got the plumbers, the trucks, and commercial customers who've been with us for years. What we don't have is someone to take care of them, grow them, and go get the next ones.

What you're walking into:

Not a cold list. You inherit a real book: property management companies, building owners, facility managers, restaurants and retail, industrial and institutional accounts across Northeast Ohio. They already buy from us. Most of them buy less than they should.

That's the opportunity. A customer calling us for emergency drain clearing belongs on a scheduled maintenance program. A property manager using us at one building should be using us at twelve. The growth is sitting there. It just needs someone to go get it.

What you'll actually sell:

• Commercial plumbing service and repair, drain cleaning and jetting, camera inspection and locating, water heaters, fixture and piping work, preventative maintenance agreements, and emergency response.

• And one thing most of your competition can't offer: Hammerhead CIPP trenchless lining.

• When a building owner is staring at a broken sewer under his parking lot, most shops quote him an excavation.

• You'll quote him a liner. No dig, no torn-up lot, no shutting down his tenants.

• That conversation closes itself, and there aren't many people in this market who can have it.

• If the technical side is new to you, we'll teach it. You can't sell what you don't understand.

The day-to-day:

• Walk buildings, scope the work, and price it right.

• Write estimates and proposals, then follow up until you get a yes or a no.

• Turn emergency callers into contract customers.

• Onboard new accounts properly, including scope, pricing, expectations, and making sure the first call is handled cleanly.

• Hand work off to dispatch so the tech shows up knowing exactly what he's walking into.

• Stay with the customer through the job and circle back after.

• Chase new business with property management groups, GCs, facility directors, and multi-location operators.

The money

• $50,000 base plus uncapped commission. Realistic year one is $90,000+.

• You're paid on new business and on growth in the accounts you manage, so the relationship work pays you, not just the closing.

• Land a multi-property maintenance agreement and it keeps paying you as long as it renews.

• Plus:

• Fuel card

• Company phone

• Laptop

Who this fits:

• You've carried a number and been responsible for customers through outside sales, service sales, account management, or estimating.

• You're comfortable in a mechanical room, not just a conference room.

• You can walk a building, understand the scope, and price it without calling three people.

• You think in margin, not revenue.

• You can run a territory without anyone checking on you.

• Valid driver's license and a record we can insure.

• Helpful, but not required:

• Commercial plumbing

• Drain and sewer

• Mechanical or HVAC service sales

• Facilities or building services

• Existing relationships with property management companies, facility directors, or GCs

• Experience selling maintenance agreements

• Coming off the tools with no sales title? Call us. Knowing the work is harder to teach than knowing the pitch, and some of the best service salespeople started in a truck.

Why this seat:

• You're earning from month one. The book already exists, so you're not waiting on a cold pipeline to fill before commission shows up.

• Operations doesn't embarrass you. We run current equipment including Hammerhead CIPP, Milwaukee cameras, maintained trucks, and a reliable crew. When you sell it, we do it right.

• You have something they can't get down the street. Trenchless is still the minority in this market.

• No layers. You work directly with ownership. You ask for a price or a decision, you get it that day.

• Recurring revenue is the model. Build a maintenance book and it pays you every year it renews.

• Health, dental, and vision

• Paid time off and holidays

• Uniforms and PPE
