About this role

Job description

NPOC Wellness and Aesthetics is a nurse practitioner owned medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Maryland. We provide injectables, laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, broadband light, body contouring, microneedling, facials, IV hydration and medically supervised weight management. Our flagship opened in 2026 at The Shops at Canton Crossing with an established client base from the former Ideal Image and Face to Face Spa locations in Canton, Arundel Mills and Towson.

We are a medical practice that runs on retail. Our clinicians consult, examine and build the treatment plan. You explain it, price it, book it and close it. That division is deliberate, and it is what makes this role central rather than administrative.

This is a sales forward role. It is not a check in position. If what you want is a front desk job built around scheduling and insurance verification, this is not the right fit, and we would rather say so now than waste your time.

What you will own

Your job is the number. You pull the daily collections report at open and at close, translate the gap into units rather than dollars, and run two short sales huddles a day so every person on the floor knows exactly what they are selling and how many. You name the service of the week and drive it. You sell what is available today.

You work our inherited client list as a daily revenue source: laser hair removal packages, lapsed memberships, unused balances and past treatment histories. You answer, return and log every inbound call as a sales opportunity, and you follow up on every consultation that did not book the same day.

At handoff you receive the treatment plan directly from the nurse practitioner or registered nurse, including anything recommended beyond the service the client came in for. You explain each recommended service in plain language: what it does, what the visit feels like, what results look like, what it costs, and what a membership or package saves. You present the membership before you quote a single service price. You ask which service the client wants to start with, then offer two specific appointment times. You collect payment and record the sale accurately in Zenoti.

You also coach. You hold the front desk to the same handoff, the same membership presentation and the same two option ask, and you correct it in the moment.

Who succeeds here

We are looking for commission driven high end retail experience where the associate owns the client relationship, for example Dior, Chanel, Hermes, Cartier, Rolex or an equivalent brand, or a top performing team lead or assistant manager from a beauty retail environment with shared goals and a real bonus structure, such as Ulta or Sephora.

We are not looking for a medical front desk, dental office or insurance verification background with no sales responsibility, or a mall counter role where the traffic arrives on its own and nobody carried a number.

If you hear that product sales are down twenty one percent and your first instinct is to name the fix and the person, you will do well here.

Requirements

Two or more years in a commission or quota carrying retail, hospitality or membership sales role, with performance against target you can speak to specifically. Demonstrated experience selling memberships, packages or recurring programs. Comfort with a point of sale or practice management system and with reading a daily sales report; Zenoti experience is a plus, not a requirement. Availability for evenings and Saturdays. Reliable transportation between our Baltimore and Waldorf locations. Professional presentation and communication consistent with a premium aesthetics brand.

Preferred: medical spa, aesthetics or wellness exposure, experience running daily team huddles, and experience working a lapsed client list back into active bookings.

Scope

This is a non-clinical position. You will not assess, diagnose, recommend treatment on your own authority, or make claims about medical outcomes. You explain the plan the clinician created. The role does not carry hiring, purchasing or profit and loss authority.

Compensation and benefits

$30.00 to $38.00 per hour based on experience, plus production commission on memberships, packages and retail you personally sell, plus participation in the location team bonus. Commission is paid on collected revenue.

Paid time off and paid sick leave. Medical, dental and vision coverage beginning after 90 days of employment. 401(k) with a 3% employer match, eligible after one year. Complimentary and discounted wellness and aesthetic services for staff. Continuing education and vendor training in a medical spa environment. Opportunity to grow as the practice expands.
