Overview
We’re currently recruiting for an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to manage and maintain inventory levels across Nomad’s North American (NAM) region. Based in our Hayward, CA location, you will be responsible for tracking, controlling and distributing equipment, spares, tooling and RMAs to support our Operations and Delivery teams and ensure the right materials are available when needed.
This is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility across inventory management, logistics, equipment kitting, software configuration and asset control. While the majority of inventory will be managed from our Hayward facility, you’ll also oversee critical spares held at key customer sites across the wider Bay and Stockton area. You may also provide occasional support to the Field Support team at customer depots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain records of inventory and assets to manage quantities, replenishments, and shortages.
• Provide inventory and asset management related reports via Excel
• Advise management when issues arise with shortages or misuse of assets
• Coordinate all products needing RMA with manufacturers
• Create domestic and international shipping labels and follow up with relevant parties
• Understand and follow shipping processes and procedures when using Nomad’s carriers (i.e. FedEx, AIT, DHL etc.)
• Ensure proper tracking of shipments and resolve problems in the process by addressing it with the appropriate Including international and cross boarder shipping.
• Conduct kitting and equipment software configuration/staging activities supporting the different projects and customers in the region
• Ensure kitting and staging quality conforms to Nomad’s internal quality standards
• Ensure equipment is stored in proper spaces in local office, also using Nomad’s tools and tracking systems
• Use NetSuite to procure and order new equipment, tools, spares, for any departmental requirements
• Use NetSuite to enter itemized shipping invoices and reconcile discrepancies
• Work with Procurement to track, monitor and escalate requisitions and POs to ensure timely delivery of materials with the departments
• Attend ad-hoc and regular planned meetings with relevant stakeholders
• Occasionally support field service team to investigate and address relevant customers tickets within the local bay
• Ensure that priority work is being tracked and then undertaken, based on ticket aging, lead times of spares/equipment, etc. informing management of any discrepancies
• To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed with regard to the undertaking this role, informing management of any issues
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
• Working experience with a variety of internal logistics and procurement systems & tools - Essential
• Working experience with supply chain – Essential
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook) – Essential
• Working experience with an electronic ticketing and ERP systems Preferred
• Experience with data cabling and basic software configuration – Preferred
• Able to crimp, terminate, and repair cable heads and cabling - Preferred
• Network equipment installation and maintenance experience – Preferred
• Basic experience with LINUX systems – Preferred
