We are looking for a Stockroom Associate to support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials and inventory are accurate, available, and organized. This position is responsible for accurately picking jobs by verifying correct part numbers and quantities, filling kit shortages, processing material requests, and putting away excess inventory. The Stockroom Associate manages inventory accuracy, resolves shortages, follows safety requirements, and maintains an organized stockroom. Duties:

• Pick Kits on a timely manner (4 weeks before due date) 1-2 days for quick turns.

• Make sure correct parts are picked for various jobs and alert supervisor to any incorrect parts in material bins.

• Perform cycle counts as needed. Alerts immediate supervisor regarding discrepancies so corrections can be made in system.

• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies. Alerts immediate supervisor regarding discrepancies so corrections can be made in system.

• Put away material returned from production daily.

• Prepare and maintain shortage reports and submit to purchasing agent for acquisition.

• Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer.

• Unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms or filled in kits.

• Bake all components as required per MSL levels/specs on a weekly basis to prevent line down situations before kit picks and after returned kits. Any compromised MSL components found during receiving.

• Must follow all safety requirements, promptly report safety accidents and illnesses, and report potential safety issues, concerns and situations to supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two (2) years established work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or computer component environment.

• Good communication skills and ability to establish and maintain positive and effective communications with other team members, customers, vendors and other third parties.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Must be able to read and comprehend packing slips and order forms.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Must be able to learn and work with LEAN working methods and processes.

• Ability to identify all components and component part numbers.

• Must comply with standards set by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and be free from federal warrants and must not be on any Federal watch list.

• Ability to learn and follow ISO 9000 process.

• Familiar with and ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and utilize other Company software.

• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
