About this role
WOMEN’S and MEN’S HEALTH ARNP / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Gynecology • Hormone Optimization • Peptide Program Development
Position Type: Full-Time | Practice Focus: Women’s Health, Hormone Optimization, Peptide Therapy & Wellness
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in women’s health, gynecological care, and hormone optimization to join our growing practice.
This is not a traditional clinic-only provider position. We are looking for someone who is passionate about women’s health and hormone optimization while also having the drive, personality, and entrepreneurial mindset to help develop, implement, lead, and grow a comprehensive Peptide & Wellness Program for both women and men.
The ideal candidate enjoys providing exceptional patient care but is equally excited about building relationships in the community, educating others, networking with healthcare professionals, and helping grow an innovative area of our practice.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive gynecological and women’s health care within the provider’s scope of practice.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage common women’s health concerns.
• Perform appropriate gynecological examinations, preventative care, and in-office procedures based on training and credentialing.
• Evaluate patients experiencing symptoms associated with perimenopause, menopause, and hormonal changes.
• Review laboratory results and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide and manage hormone replacement and hormone optimization therapies for appropriate patients.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, expectations, potential benefits, risks, and ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team.
PEPTIDE PROGRAM LEADERSHIP
• Help create and implement clinical protocols for peptide therapies offered by the practice.
• Evaluate patients to determine whether peptide therapy may be clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment and monitoring plans.
• Stay current on available research, safety information, regulations, and evolving standards surrounding peptide therapies.
• Assist with patient education materials, consent processes, dosing protocols, follow-up procedures, and program standards.
• Educate and train clinical and administrative staff regarding the peptide program.
• Monitor program outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
• Work closely with practice leadership to develop new wellness and hormone-related services.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & PROGRAM GROWTH
• Build relationships with local gyms, fitness centers, wellness businesses, personal trainers, and other community partners.
• Develop referral relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and other medical practices.
• Visit businesses and organizations to provide education regarding hormone health, wellness, and available services.
• Participate in health fairs, community events, educational seminars, lunch-and-learns, and networking opportunities.
• Conduct educational presentations for both healthcare professionals and the public.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the Hormone and Peptide Programs.
• Participate in educational videos, social media content, and other marketing initiatives.
• Identify new opportunities to expand the practice’s reach and patient base.
• Help establish the practice as a trusted regional resource for women’s health, hormone optimization, and medically supervised wellness services.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Experienced ARNP, NP, or PA with a background in women’s health, gynecology, OB/GYN, hormone therapy, functional medicine, or a related field.
• Knowledgeable and passionate about hormone replacement and hormone optimization.
• Interested in peptide therapy and motivated to continually expand knowledge in this evolving area.
• Comfortable treating and educating both female and male patients within training and scope of practice.
• Confident speaking with individuals, groups, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
• Energetic, personable, professional, and comfortable networking.
• Able to combine excellent clinical judgment with a business-development and growth mindset.
• Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of a program rather than simply following an established routine.
• Excited about helping build something new and watching it grow.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Current and unrestricted Iowa ARNP/NP or PA license, or ability to obtain appropriate Iowa licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Appropriate national board certification.
• Women’s health or gynecological experience strongly preferred.
• Hormone replacement/optimization experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with or advanced knowledge of peptide therapy is preferred; candidates with a strong hormone background and a demonstrated desire to become highly knowledgeable in peptide therapy will be considered.
• Excellent communication, patient education, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
WHAT MAKES THIS POSITION DIFFERENT
This position offers the opportunity to combine clinical medicine, women’s health, hormone optimization, wellness, leadership, education, marketing, and program development in one role.
We aren’t simply looking for another provider to fill an existing schedule. We are looking for the right provider to take ownership of an exciting and growing service line—someone who wants to help create the program, become an expert and educator in the space, build community relationships, and play an important role in its long-term success.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to become a key clinical leader as our Hormone & Peptide Program continues to grow for both women and men.
