We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Financial Paraplanner and help make a meaningful impact on the lives of families across North Georgia. As a Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting our advisory team by preparing financial plans, conducting research, and managing key client data. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to grow within the financial planning profession. A FINRA Series 65 certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Client Support:

• Handle customer service tasks, including responding to client inquiries and providing information

• Manage trade-related client services tasks, including scheduling and executing money movement. Conduct capital gains research

• Open new accounts, create game plans, and track funding

• Oversee financial planning software’s maintenance, including account setup, profile edits, plan setup, and investment updates

Support Advisors in Meetings:

• Prepare meeting templates and information for advisors, including financial planning

• Research client profiles and pertinent financial information

• Attend prospect and client meetings, take notes, enter tasks, and send follow-up emails

• Execute tasks arising from meetings where appropriate

• Support the financial planning process through data entry, research, and basic plan preparation using eMoney planning software.

Compliance & Review:

• Perform compliance tasks such as new account reviews and cash balance reports

• Conduct random account reviews and maintain monthly trade blotters

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years of professional experience in finance

• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of others

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of care

• Required to be in office Monday-Thursday, work from home on Friday, if desired

• Series 65

• Experience using planning software and working with Fidelity, Schwab, or other custodial platforms
