Position Overview
We are looking for an organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support and coordinate major university events. The role involves managing executive tasks, meetings, communication, and events while working with different departments and ensuring that all activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
• Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and minutes and follow up on tasks, deadlines, and action items.
• Assist with organizing university events, workshops, ceremonies, and visits.
• Communicate with departments, staff, vendors, and visitors to support daily activities.
• Maintain and organize confidential documents, records, and files.
• Manage digital documents and folders using SharePoint and other systems.
• Ensure administrative activities follow university policies and procedures.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to staff and management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• English and Arabic Proficiency is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in administration, event management, or a similar role.
• Experience in a university, higher education, nonprofit, or institutional environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint and digital filing systems.
• Experience with project-management tools is an advantage.
