The RoleWe’re hiring a Software Engineer to build the interface between AI agents and CAD: the languages, geometric representations, and runtimes that let an agent inspect a model, query its structure, and express modifications.
This is a hands-on, exploratory role with ownership of both architecture and implementation. You’ll help define the right abstractions, test them against real models and agent workflows, and turn promising experiments into reliable software.
What You'll DoDesign CAD DSL that lets AI agents inspect models, query their structure, and express modifications as meaningful diffs.
Build backends for the DSL on top of existing major CAD tools and kernels.
Develop B-rep representations that help agents perceive and reason about geometry and topology.
Track geometric identity and metadata across edits, transformations, and exports.
Solve open-ended geometry problems, combining existing kernel capabilities with custom algorithms to make CAD geometry easier for agents to understand and manipulate.
What We're Looking ForStrong software engineering skills. You’ve built substantial systems and can own both architectural decisions and hands-on implementation.
Experience building geometry software. You’ve worked with B-reps, geometry kernels, CAD internals, or similarly demanding geometric systems—not just used CAD tools.
Good instincts for abstraction design. You can design APIs, data models, or languages that make complex operations easy to express without hiding important constraints.
Comfort with open-ended problems. You can turn a loosely defined goal into concrete experiments, evaluate the tradeoffs, and decide what’s worth building properly.
