We are currently looking to recruit a Senior / Supervising Social Worker for our friendly and dynamic team to work with Foster Parents in the North East.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support and supervision of a range of Foster Parents, ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children One of our long-serving, now retired, Supervising Social Workers said this about her experience of working for Fostering People:

About You
The successful candidate will:
Be a motivated and organised professional, able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and Foster ParentsHave excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills, along with confident IT skillsHold a recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registrationBe passionate about improving outcomes for children, bringing enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to our innovative and child-focused approach, whether you are new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social WorkerHold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicleHave a good understanding of fostering, safeguarding and relevant legislation Desirable
