Eversholt, Milton Keynes
At Mixxos, we’re building more than a successful recruitment business - we’re creating a culture where people feel supported, trusted and able to make a genuine difference. We’re looking for a passionate, honest and proactive Administrator who will become an important part of our journey. You’ll be at the heart of the business, supporting our temporary recruitment team and keeping everything organised behind the scenes.
This is a busy and varied position where priorities can change quickly. You’ll need to be supportive, comfortable picking up the phone and genuinely up for a challenge. We want someone who takes ownership, communicates honestly and looks for solutions without always waiting to be asked.
What you’ll be responsible for
* Answering and making telephone calls to candidates, temporary workers and clients. * Managing diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating interviews. * Supporting the temporary recruitment team with daily administration and changing priorities. * Assisting with weekly payroll, including timesheets, holiday requests and resolving pay-related queries. * Processing candidate registrations, Right to Work checks and compliance documents accurately. * Coordinating reference checks, onboarding and first-day arrangements. * Keeping our CRM, vacancy trackers and timesheet systems fully up to date. * Providing ongoing support to temporary workers throughout their assignments. * Preparing information for client invoicing and internal reporting. * Producing monthly activity and DE&I reports for the leadership team. * Identifying ways to improve processes and help the wider team work more effectively. * Providing a positive and professional experience for candidates, clients and colleagues. What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in office administration or recruitment administration. * Confidence handling a busy phone line and communicating with different people. * Experience managing diaries, appointments and competing priorities. * Strong organisation and the ability to work calmly when plans change. * Excellent attention to detail, particularly when assisting with payroll and compliance. * Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams. * The ability to learn new systems quickly. * Clear and professional written and verbal communication. * A full UK driving licence. * A reliable, positive and proactive approach. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about doing a brilliant job and contributing to the team. * Honest when something needs addressing or support is required. * Proactive in spotting what needs to be done and taking ownership. * Supportive of their colleagues and willing to step in when the team needs help. * Up for a challenge and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. * People-focused, recognising that every process involves a real candidate, client or colleague. Why join Mixxos?
* Join a close-knit and energetic team where your contribution will be valued. * Play an important role in supporting our growing temporary recruitment division. * Work for a business committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. * See the direct impact of your work as candidates begin new opportunities. * Have a genuine voice in how our processes and culture continue to develop. * Access opportunities to progress into resourcing, recruitment or operations. * Hybrid working may be available once you are fully trained and established in the role. If you enjoy supporting others, take pride in getting the details right and are ready to take on a varied and rewarding challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
