About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Inventory Control & Wavemaster Team Member to join our Warehouse Operations team at Bathgate Distribution Centre.
Working within the Inventory Control and Wavemaster function, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy across the Distribution Centre and ensuring customer orders are released efficiently to support operational performance. Using warehouse management systems including Manhattan and SAP, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory, investigating stock discrepancies, supporting stock integrity activities and managing the release and flow of work across the warehouse operation.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.
As part of the role, you may be required to work across a range of warehouse temperature-controlled environments, including Ambient, Chilled and Frozen areas, ensuring operational requirements are supported across the wider Distribution Centre.
This role operates on a shift basis, working 5 days over 7, including weekend working. The department operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with colleagues typically working 8-hour shifts across our AM, PM and Night operations. Shift patterns will vary in line with business requirements, and flexibility is essential to support operational demand, as this role operates on a job and finish basis. There may be occasions where colleagues are required to remain beyond their planned finish time to ensure operational priorities and tasks are completed.
As part of our wider warehouse operation, colleagues employed within this role will be engaged under the Warehouse Selector contract and may be required to undertake warehouse selection duties in line with operational requirements.
