About the role:

The Customer Operations Co-ordinator plays a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience through effective order management, operational coordination, reporting, and process support. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role supports the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring accurate information, efficient execution of operational processes, and continuous improvement of systems and ways of working. Contributing to commercial success by providing operational support, maintaining customer data and requirements, coordinating reporting activities, and supporting delivery against service level commitments.

What you'll be doing:

Customer Operations & Order Management

Support the delivery of end-to-end customer operations processes to provide a consistent and effective customer experience.Coordinate order book management activities, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.Monitor and report on order status, fulfilment performance, and key operational metrics.Support delivery against customer and business service level expectations.Assist with customer transaction readiness activities, ensuring all customer requirements are maintained and up to date. Reporting & Data Management

Produce, maintain and distribute regular operational reports to support business decision-making.Coordinate and maintain customer master data, commercial information, contracts, trading terms, and operational records.Support forecasting and planning activities through accurate data management and reporting.Ensure data accuracy and integrity across relevant systems and reporting platforms.Provide analysis and insights to support operational and commercial performance. Customer & Stakeholder Support

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external customer contacts.Support communications with customers and stakeholders in a professional, timely and brand-aligned manner.Act as a key point of coordination between sales, finance, supply chain, customer service, logistics and other business functions.Support issue resolution by investigating operational challenges and driving timely solutions. Process & Systems Support

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes and ways of working.Assist with the maintenance and development of operational systems, EDI connections, technologies and reporting tools.Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency, customer experience and commercial performance.Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality and enhance operational effectiveness. Operational Administration

Support operational transactions and activities such as returns, recalls, credits, customer onboarding and fulfilment processes as required.Coordinate documentation, data assets and customer requirements to ensure customers are ready to trade.Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and customer requirements. What you'll bring:

Experience working within a customer operations, sales operations, wholesale operations, supply chain or customer service environment. Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes and customer fulfilment activities. Experience producing, maintaining and analysing operational reports. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving capability with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Desirable

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Experience within a retail, wholesale, consumer goods or distribution environment.Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent business systems.Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process development.
