The Advancement Support Specialist assists with all aspects of Advancement events, including planning, organizing, on-site services, vendor/supplier coordination and event delivery. The role works with the Associate Director of Advancement and the Director of Advancement to create relevant invitation lists, publish event messaging and manage the RSVP process. This role also assists in other aspects of Advancement, including donor appeals/campaigns, the Community Partners Program, Athletic Booster Club initiatives and alumni programming.
Specific Responsibilities: ? Work with Associate Directors of Advancement to manage event needs, including planning and organizing all social and fundraising Advancement events ? Monitor event budgets and create necessary Purchase Orders ? Coordinate and manage third party companies/vendors needed for events, including price quotes and event logistics ? Create and send pre and post event messaging/graphics to drive attendance and inform attendees of necessary information ? Support Annual Campaign initiatives in coordination with the Associate Director of Advancement ? Support aspects of the Community Partners Program in coordination with the Director of Advancement ? Support Athletic Booster Club activities in coordination with the Director of Advancement ? Support alumni program initiatives in coordination with the Associate Director of Advancement ? Other duties as assigned
The salary range for this position is $25 to $35 per hour.
