PAY GRADE: $4,000/year FLSA STATUS: Exempt
OBJECTIVE: Serve as the lead for Guidance Counselors including, but not limited to, new staff training, professional development, and compliance with grant requirements and other logistical support
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
• Support and lead the vision and mission of guidance counseling department
• Set the direction for the guidance counseling department for the maximum benefit of students
• Support all guidance counselors, including new to the district
• Support and lead professional development
• Provide solutions-based approach to problems for students and staff
