THE SEARCH The Allen East Local Schools Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer. The Board seeks a collaborative, team-based financial leader to succeed Treasurer Andrea Snyder. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong financial management skills, integrity, a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to working collaboratively with the Board of Education, Superintendent, administrative team, staff, and community. Allen East is committed to preparing students for life after graduation through meaningful pathways that prepare them to be enrolled, employed, or enlisted. Students have access to career-technical education opportunities in STEM and advanced manufacturing, as well as opportunities for upperclassmen to attend Apollo Career Center and earn industry credentials. College Credit Plus opportunities are available through Bluffton University, the University of Northwestern Ohio, Rhodes State College, Ohio Northern University, and The Ohio State University at Lima. Allen East also has a strong tradition of agricultural education and student leadership through its successful FFA program, along with a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities, including athletics, SADD, foreign language clubs, performing and visual arts, student council, and yearbook.
