About this role
Coastal Ridge Elementary School seeks a knowledgeable, experienced School Counselor as a long-term substitute. We are searching for a charismatic educator with keen emotional intelligence who contributes positively to a healthy school climate and would work very closely with our current school counselor and other staff. With 308 students in grades 2, 3, and 4, we hope to hire a collaborative educator who proactively coordinates social/ emotional support with students, teachers, and families. This position is to fill a leave of absence from Late November 2026 through Mid April 2027. A potential candidate would have successful experience working with individual students, classrooms, an administrative team, and a broader school community. Applicants should also have an understanding that tools for navigating today's digital world are key elements of healthy child development.
