Liberty Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, creative, and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join our ABLES program. This role supports students with complex learning profiles, primarily those on the autism spectrum. We are looking for an educator who pairs a deep understanding of evidence-based practices with a kind, student-centered approach. The ABLES classroom is comprised of elementary aged students who have behavioral, sensory, and educational needs related to their Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are seeking an educator with eperience delivering instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), positive behavior supports, and data collection preferred. Responsibilities include modifying and implementing specialized curricula to meet diverse learner needs managing the IEP process, including drafting goals, writing progress reports, and conducting standardized assessments for re-eligibility. Candidates must be MA DESE certified in Moderate or Severe Special Education, SEI endorsed, experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and demonstrate proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
