About this role

Job Title: High School Curriculum Coordinator School: The Highlands School Division: High School Reports To: Principal (High School) Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary The High School Curriculum Coordinator position is a full-time role that combines curriculum leadership with direct student learning support. The role is structured as a dual-responsibility position, with time allocated between coordinating and supporting the high school curriculum and providing targeted academic support to students. Under the direction of the Dean of Academics, this role ensures faithful implementation of the Regnum Christi Education curriculum and standards, promotes instructional coherence across departments, and supports student learning through academic interventions and learning support services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field; master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful high school teaching experience.

• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment at the secondary level.

• Practicing Catholic who will support and model the mission, values, and educational philosophy of The Highlands School.

• Experience with Regnum Christi Education experience a plus.

Key Responsibilities Curriculum Implementation & Alignment

• Support the integration of Catholic identity, virtue formation, and leadership development within academic courses

• Implement and support curriculum and standards with fidelity

• Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum across departments and grade levels

• Maintain and update curriculum maps, scope and sequence documents, and pacing guides

• Assist with curriculum documentation for accreditation, diocesan review, and internal evaluation

Instructional Support

• Collaborate with teachers and department chairs to support effective instructional planning and delivery

• Provide guidance on lesson design, assessments, and instructional strategies in support of curriculum

Assessment & Data

• Support with coordination of common assessments and curriculum-based evaluations

• Support faculty in analyzing student performance data to inform instruction

• Monitor curriculum effectiveness and identify gaps or areas for improvement

• Prepare curriculum-related reports and recommendations for the Dean of Academics, Principal or Executive Director

Professional Development

• Support professional development related to curriculum, instruction, and Regnum Christi Integral Formation methodology

• Assist with onboarding and curriculum orientation for new high school faculty

Collaboration & Communication

• Support the academic priorities and vision set by the High School Principal

• Work closely with the Dean of Academics on academic initiatives and improvement plans

• Work collaboratively with faculty, deans, and counselors to support student success

• Communicate curriculum expectations and academic support structures clearly to faculty

• Collaborate with other deans to support the holistic academic and formative development of students
