About this role
Primary Job Function: Protects safety and property of Toledo Public School stakeholders by providing security services as required. Keeps principals and staff informed about operations, interests, and concerns of the community. Acts as a liaison and resource between community agencies and school administration. Operates in a professional and discrete manner at all times adhering to Board Policy and Local, State and Federal laws and ordinances. Job Duties:
• Conducts weapons checks as assigned
• Maintain the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors to Toledo Public School events.
• Works at the direction of the on site Toledo Public School Resource Officer.
• Performs other related duties pertaining to position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check
• Must have experience working with children or security related background
