About this role
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular practices and prepare students for academic competitions.
• Plan and conduct team practices that develop students' knowledge, skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attend and conduct academic team matches, competitions, and related events.
• Communicate competition schedules and expectations with students, families, and school administration.
• Select and prepare students for various academic team events and competitions.
• Monitor student participation, progress, and eligibility.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
• Coordinate with teachers and administration regarding student needs and competition activities.
• Ensure students follow school expectations and represent GCMS in a positive manner.
• Complete other duties related to the Academic Team as assigned.
