Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Qualification Guidelines: Education/Certifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned in one of the following: 1. Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources: Grades 6-12 2. Agricultural Science and Technology: Grades 6-12 3. Any vocational agriculture certificate 4. Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 6-12 5. Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 8-12 6. Secondary Industrial Arts: Grades 6-12 7. Secondary Industrial Technology: Grades 6-12 8. Technology Education: Grades 6-12 9. Trade and IndustrialEducation: Grades 6-12 (this assignmentrequires appropriate work approval) 10. Trade and IndustrialEducation: Grades 8-12 (this assignmentrequires appropriate work approval) 11. Trade and Industrial Workforce Training: Grades 6-12 (this assignment requires appropriate work approval) 12. Vocational Trades and Industry (this assignment requires appropriate work approval) Letter of Acceptance from Educator Prep Program and ability to obtain Intern Certification within one year for subject and level assigned Or Two or more years of full-time wage-earning experience in the Construction Industry Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Capitalizes students' interests to engage students to become independent learners Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of subjects assigned Uses information about individualstudent to make learning more meaningful and relevant Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise assigned teacher aide(s)
