Position Criteria:
• High School Diploma, preferred
• Custodial Experience: 0-2 years required, 3-5 years preferred
Performance Criteria:
• Cleaning to include vacuuming floors, cleaning desk/table tops, emptying trash & recycling, cleaning sinks and windows, sweeping & wet mopping tile floors, lifting & moving lunch tables daily.
• Clean restrooms
• Operate a variety of equipment (vacuums, scrubber, etc)
• Perform regular routine maintenance such as fixing lockers and changing batteries and lightbulbs
• Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment as scheduled
• Perform deep cleaning
• Enter work orders as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands: The custodian physical job demands include: Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from waist to above shoulder; Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from floor to waist; frequent maximum lift of 30 lbs from floor to shoulder; frequent carry of 50 lbs 10 feet; occasional maximum horizontal push/pull of 20 lbs; occasional maximum vertical pull of 25 lbs; frequent maximum grip of 20 lbs; frequent climb to 8 inches; occasional overhead reach; occasional trunk rotation; frequent reach forward to 24 inches; frequent bending; frequent standing; frequent walking; frequent balance. PDC Level: Heavy based on maximum floor to shoulder lift. Background check completion and pre-employment physical required prior to employment.
