Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of: ELO-P CLASSROOM MENTOR
Under the general supervision of the Coordinator, Community Based Organizations in conjunction with the ELO-P Instructor; assist in the after-school program as a mentor for an individual class in the direct care and supervision of the children and maintain program standards. Follows well-defined guidelines, policies, and written procedures. Exercise patience, tolerance, and objectivity when working with individuals or groups of children. Uses judgment to determine children's needs and when to seek assistance from ELO-P Instructor or other staff.
• Work year is 185 days per year, 4.0 hours per day.
• Salary range is $20.24 - $24.33 per hour plus applicable fringe benefits (Vision, Dental, & Life Insurance).
Requirements (Must possess and provide with application)
• Proof of High School Graduation (H.S. Diploma, high school transcripts, GED, or higher degree)
• A.A. / A.S. Degree or 48 units from an institute of higher education or have passed and provided the Instructional Aide Exam (CODESP).
